Show that a person
wrote it.
Unghosted records how you wrote a WordPress post (typing time, revisions, pastes), and our server checks and signs that record. Readers see a single quiet line at the end of the post.
How it works
- 1
Write
Write in the usual WordPress editor. The plugin records only a summary, such as typing time and how much was pasted. Your text is never sent.
- 2
Pledge
Before publishing, tick “I wrote this myself”. When you paste, the editor asks “Paste this?” first.
- 3
Verify and sign
With verified records (paid), our server checks the records it received while you wrote, using its own clock, and issues a signed record page.
What readers see
One line at the end of the post, and a record page behind it. Nothing loud.

Record page (example)
- Active typing time
- 4 h 12 min
- Written over
- 3 days
- Characters deleted while revising
- 1,450
- Pasted text
- 0%
The record page lives on unghosted.blog, not on the writer's site, so the writer cannot edit it.

FAQ
Does this prove no AI was used?
No. Nothing can stop someone from retyping AI text by hand. Unghosted shows that there is a record of a person typing for this long, plus the writer's own pledge.
Is my text sent to your server?
No. Only a summary (typing time, character counts) and a hash of the text, a fingerprint that cannot be turned back into the text.
What do I need?
WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 7.4+ with the block editor. Any theme works.
What happens if my plan ends?
New posts go back to the self-declared badge. Record pages already issued stay online.
